Some have asked that we make the oceans deeper. We don't plan to do that for this update. However if you find a massive cave + flooded aquifer system that intersects an ocean floor then, yeah, it will feel like a veeeery deep ocean right there (exaggerated in this example).

This is what an aquifer looks like (well two in this case) when it is fully exposed, for example if the entire underground is one single massive cave. You'll most likely never see them this exposed though :)

OK this seems promising. This aquifer tweak increases the chance of finding ocean caves that actually lead somewhere. Should also recreate underwater caves similar to the 1.17 ocean ravines.

To be clear: this is a debug setup where I've turned the entire underground into one single massive infinite cave, just to reveal the aquifers in their full naked glory. Normally aquifers are only visible when they happen to overlap with caves.

OK this should be good enough for now. Ocean ravines are back. They won't look exactly the same as in 1.17 because we no longer use a specific carver for it, but in return we get a lot more variation :)
